Battle Arena

How it is Played

Battle Arena is a team battle system which players can easily take part in and enjoy. It is a small- to medium-scale PvP system, which allow for 8-on-8 to 32-on-32 battles. Players are rewarded skill experience points and arena coins, the latter of which can be exchanged to a variety of items.

Types of Battle Arenas

Random-matching Arena

- Players can apply for a battle individually, and are automatically divided into two teams – Blue Dragon and Red Lotus – when the game starts.
- Teams are divided depending on the level of the highest-level character of all characters that applied for the battle.
- The scale of the battle is by default 8 on 8, the minimum being 4 on 4(2 on 2 when the level is below 50).

Party vs. Party Arena

- Players organize a battle party as they like. Only the party leader can apply for a battle.
- Parties are designated either as Blue Dragon or as Red Lotus depending on the level of highest-level party member regardless of the number of the members.
- You can be at a disadvantage if your party is of mixed level members or is fewer in number.

Guild vs. Guild Arena

- Only the guild master can apply for a battle.
- The guild master can choose up to 15 team members from the Guild Members window when applying for the battle.
- Teams are designated either as Blue Dragon or as Red Lotus depending on the level of the highest-level team member. (16 on 16 maximum)

Job vs. Job Arena

Merchants and hunters fight against thieves. Players can apply for a battle individually when equipping their job uniforms.
- Players are divided into two teams - Blue Dragon and Red Lotus - depending on the highest level of the characters that applied to join the battle.
- The maximum scale of the battle is 32 on 32, the minimum being 4 on 4(2 on 2 when the level is below 50).

Game Rules

Common Rules

- The initial position(Resurrection point) is located in a safety zone, where characters can’t be attacked but can attack enemies outside a safety zone.
- The names of enemies are displayed in red.
- Characters killed during the battle are teleported to the resurrection point, and HP and MP are fully restored. No experience penalty is given.
- No kinds of transportation can be used in battlefields. Scrolls of Escape, Scrolls of Summon Monster, Pandora’s Boxes can’t be used as well.

Rules for Capture the Flag

- Characters score 1,000 points when the flag is placed in the friendly territory.
Characters lose 1,000 points when the flag is captured by the enemy team.
- Characters score 1 point by killing an enemy character.
- The character that captured the flag has to mount it on the flagpole within 60 seconds. When the 60 seconds are up, the flag is dropped on the ground.
- Characters in “Untouchable” status cannot capture or mount the flag.
- The team with the higher score when the time runs out wins. If the scores are the same, the battle is a draw.

Rules for Point Battle

- Players score points by killing monsters summoned in the battlefield and other player characters.
- Monsters are summoned depending on the level of the highest-level character in the area.
- Four types of monsters – normal, champion, giant, strongest - are summoned. Points scored depend on the type of the monster killed. (Points scored: 6 points for a player character, 1 for a normal monster, 3 for a champion monster, 8 for a giant monster, 60 for a strongest monster)
- When a monster is attacked and killed by both teams at the same time, the team that has dealt more damages scores.
- The team with the higher score when the time runs out wins. If the scores are the same, the battle is a draw.
